Nick Vanderhoven, Founder of
@UpSnatch in Belgium, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026.
Nick was with us at Domain Summit Asia in Hong Kong last year and also attended our European event in Kempten this August.
I'm pleased that he'll be joining us again, this time on the following panel:
"The AI-Powered Domain Investor - Finding, Valuing, Acquiring and Selling Domains in the Age of LLMs."
For those unfamiliar with UpSnatch, it's a domain discovery and research platform focused on expired and aftermarket domains.
Rather than buying and selling domains itself, the platform provides tools that help investors, agencies and businesses find names worth investigating.
Users can search by topic, examine SEO metrics and domain history, compare opportunities and monitor domains they may want to acquire.
There is also a newer technical side to UpSnatch that I find interesting.
The platform now offers API and MCP access, allowing AI agents to search its domain catalogue.
That makes Nick a good fit for our panel.
We already have tools that can generate domain valuations and suggest names.
But can AI actually help us find better investment opportunities?
Can an agent search through expired domains, identify relevant names, check their history and prepare a useful shortlist?
How much should investors trust automated scoring and recommendations?
And what happens when everyone starts using similar AI tools?
I'm particularly interested in discussing the difference between speeding up domain research and actually making better investment decisions.
Nick and his team are working on these problems, so it will be good to hear what they've learned.
