Is this a privacy service you are referring to? If so, it's pretty unlikely you'll be able to get the details, you could try writing to the proxy service and asking if they'll pass on your enquiry. Is there an e-mail link on the WHOIS?

Yes it's worth an e-mail, that e-mail address should be forwarded to the domain name owner anyway.
