once some of my domains have become suspended i'm noticing domcollect all over me nameservers.. vultures..

Annoying thing too is even when you renew it you still need to manually change the NS back again with Fasthosts or they stay on DomSteal's.

So when a domain becomes suspended (even though I am still the owner during the redemption period) they can go in and do some tasting as and when  cheeky gits..

They do it a couple of weeks after it goes renewal required AFAIK so they get 15 days tasting before it goes suspended and stops resolving.

Yes if the provider's T&C's override the Nominet T&C's, this is what the domain expiry policy group were discussing and Nominet were asking for feedback on during the summer (there were several discussions on this and other forums).

Personally, I think it is wrong and the registrant should retain the benefit of the domain or it should be detagged if the providers don't want to continue service if renewal is not completed. As to what happens, I guess it depends on the feedback Nominet got from the consultation.

Nominet have probably already agreed the outcome with the big registrars via personal email accounts! :)

Surely not :) I've not seen any feedback to the group yet, hopefully they will have collated the replies and we'll know more soon.
