Voting on both could be done online, however it could be worth having a proxy of someone you know going to the AGM .

No, I have no idea what the big fuss is over the latest thing to vote for an Nominet but I think the gist of it is that they are asking members not to vote for

Darren Brown,
Jim Davies,
and Robert Fox

Now, I dont know them from my Postman but as The Register points out, one of them originally wanted Nominet to be a 'for-profit' organisation and has now apparantly changed his mind, whilst another was taking to court by Citigroup for cybersquatting. Therefore, Nominet asking people not to vote for those two in particular seems fairly reasonable.

In the case of Mr Davies (who you do know as Beasty on here) a case like that could happen to anyone - as shown by itunes.co.uk, myspace.co.uk etc. This was also 8 years ago and there has been a lot of case law since then.

Order in the Court of Appeal. The terms of that Order are confidential. Nominet has been
aware of this for a number of years.
