UCP.co.uk and DRF.co.uk for £600? Sold!
Just re-read, as of 9PM this evening. If there are no takers prior, I will happy take them for that price.

What do you think?

They were (and currently are £600 each)

Thanks

That smells of being a shyster pal.

Firstly £500 each, £950 the pair. You get no bids, word a post badly. It said both names, not each name! As per convention, most sellers with no bids reduce their price to incentivise. You now say you were actually increasing each price this morning.

Bell-end! You ought to honour the sale to packeted.

I would have been happy to apologise for my badly worded post, however you instantly went on the offensive with abusive terms.

Therefore, I dont give a fuck what you think. You have no sales history on this forum so your opinion means nothing.

I was indeed increasing the price. It was a sales tactic to flush out any buyers. Clearly you did not see this.

The way I read it was, they were £500 each or £950 the pair, he then posted saying that as of 9:00pm tonight they would be £600, which to me means he was giving people the incentive to buy at the current price before the prices go up £100 on each at 9:00pm, that's how I read it anyway.

Re-reading, it was badly worded that is true, but for anyone to think that you could pick of 2 LLL for £600

That's the point though, someone has thought that. I read it the same way as the buyer. Obviously he's not going to get them now.

Apologies if my original post was aggresive, but let's be fair, it is you who should know better than to work it that way, you're the (experienced) seller.

Hi guys,

Well obviously I'm disappointed I won't be getting these names. I must admit I thought the wording was ambiguous, but I've very rarely seen sales threads where people go on to increase the price despite lack of interest so assumed the price was for both, which admittedly would have been a good deal.

Anyway no hard feelings, I have had some good buys from Lee in the past. DoubleTap - thanks for trying to fight my corner, I appreciate it and do feel that sellers/buyers should be held to some account to maintain the quality of these forums.

Regards,
Francis

Thats also how i read it... believe me if i thought otherwise i would have been jumping all over those names for £600 as Lee well knows, lol :p

Yeah maybe the wording could have been tweaked a little different but there was most definitely no underhand tactics played out there, just genuine misunderstandings I'm sure.

Well worked out guys, job well done :)

That's how I read it too. I can see how it could have been interpreted both ways though, to be honest. The question marks after both of Francis's post would seem to suggest that he too wasn't sure what the deal was. Simple misunderstanding.
