Dropcatcher slots

It seems from previous posts that there is a small market in selling dropcatcher slots. Given their variable success rate, was just wondering what people would pay for a slot. e.g. if the booked name was worth £10k what might you expect to get for the slot?

the last lot of slots went for approx £15 each.

nothing to do with the booked name (as dropcatcher might not get the name)

the value of the slot is based on what they can be bought for.

but if you post the name in the slot then you might get a higher offer if someone is deperate for the slot for some reason

further to my last post i have a slot booked for the name 'guild.co.uk'... so if you'd like to purchase the slot and privilege of having a decent name catch chance feel free to make an offer

That's more what I meant - If I have a decent name booked is there a market in selling on that particular slot (rather than just unused credits)

It could work the reverse... the better the name the less likely dropcatcher will get it...

So most value would be on mid range names where it is over the value of the slot and they have a chance of getting the name

If you were to buy slots based on names booked with DC then I would say the only ones worth paying for would be ones where there are a lot of other good names dropping on that same day.
