I'd have thought it was more expensive not to qualify for the finals than it is to pay for a good manager - though paying for two (as they were for a long time) was a bit careless!

One thing they also said is that sven didn't take any training sessions with England, for some reason McLaren took them all. Which makes a lot of sense now that he has gone and Mclaren is in full control the style and quality of football hasn't changed one bit. Yet Man City are near the top of the league playing fantastic football. We've played like Middlesborough when Mclaren's been in charge of both.

Why is no one mentioning the fact that the REFEREE awarded a penalty incorrectly! That changed the whole game. Although.......... what was wayne roooooooooooooney doing at left back! We're not too bad ...honestly! Macedonia 0-0 was the result that fukt us really!

I think half the reason no one is mentioning the ref is because Rooney's goal was offside. Not sure as haven't seen it but if it was, it kind of balances things out.

I think Rooney lost the game for England. Anyway, I'm especially peeved as a layed Russia at 11.5 when England were 1 up. Lost £20 to gain £2 or something like that. I'm not a big gambler. I'll have a tenner on England in the rugby though, at the weekend. And maybe another tenner on 'The Doctor' winning the MotoGP on Sunday. Buy hey - there's F1 as well!
