Have a genuine question:

Are associated .co.uk's worth keeping when you have the .com? Do UK companies pick up both?

Also have a number of *.com's with both the *.co.uk and the *.uk. Does anyone use the .uk? Are people buying .uk and not the co.uk or vice versa?

Not a UK guy anymore. Helping old client wind down with most domains 10+ years old.

🙏

The general rule is (with many exceptions, of course):
1) use .co.uk to signal local presence (most UK companies use .co.uk)
2) own .uk for protecting your brand
3) own .com for international business ambitions

:) welcome to Acorn!

So as I understand it you recommend keeping the .uk's and continuing to pay that £12.99/yr.

These domains are on Afternic, Godaddy but getting no recent interest. Can't do Sedo promoted because registrar is "not participating".

Any other place to promote .UK and .co.uk? He sold one .co.uk but the buyer didn't know or care about the *.uk. There was no contact w/buyer since thru Afternic.

🙏
