finding bad links to a site

Can anyone show/tell me how to find out what bad links are going to a site.

I have added the site in WMT and getting this:

Google Webmaster Tools notice of detected unnatural links to:

so how do i find out what these links are and how do i stop/block them

Well, this is not really a full brief of what you need..

Your webmaster tools should show you your links in the near future.

Is this an established site that is ranking already? and you want to know how to remove certain bad links?

Or is this a site you picked up that was expiring and you don't care about it's links?

Or is this a site you picked up that was expiring that you want it's links?

You first need to say the scenario and what exactly is are you looking to do, then someone can offer accurate advice on best how to achieve it.

It's finding all of the links that's the problem, no one place will have found or list all of them.

I suggest signing up to ahrefs and majestic seo and get a list of current and historic links.

Where you find for example a spam article that has spun content, search for "the title of the article" (inc quotation marks) to find all of the places that article has been left (often the content is spun but not the title) and note those too.

Then disavow them, then do a reconsideration request.
