I'm surprised I haven't heard of him, even though he was way before I got involved with domains, I assume he's no loner active, as I don't recognise the name from any domains I've ever seen dropping.

Nice being able to pick names like property.co.uk up, a lot less competition back in those days, compared to now.

I've spent the last couple of weeks looking through all sorts of domain lists looking for a nice short domain, with a miserable budget as it is not for commercial use, just a vanity name really. I am a developer though, and have been for 11 years, so kept an eye out for anything interesting commercially. In the past I've happily paid good money (I'm not a big spender, but have often spent x,xxx) if I thought there was any sort of return possible. What I've seen over and over is thousands of emds that I wouldn't register if they were available, but they generally have price tags in the x,xxx range.
