Just a heads up if anyone is going to have dealings with this idiot. He's bought a domain, bidded against other users and now refused to pay.

"Hm, sorry, but I'd like to skip purchasing this domain" doesn't really impress me!

He's a good guy.
I sold a few big value SEO domains to him.
He has been slow in responding in a couple of transactions but always paid and in fact paid extra for one domain sold for charity.
But I agree that refusing to pay for an auction you win is unacceptable
Maybe approach the second highest bidder and offer it to them (that's the beauty of a free and transparent auction platform)

Your opinion of a good guy and mine may differ slightly.

He sent details for the Paypal invoice then gave backword. I've never done that in over 20 years, if the reputation of Shared Domains OÜ is worth just £238 then thats his problem. I've found a good home for the domain and done someone a favour.

The fact still stands that Shared Domains OÜ are timewasters!

He won a domain from me, took 5 days to contact me and pay, then another 14 days (with me contacting him daily) to accept a transfer. So a 19 day transaction (although he did pay)! After that I asked him not to bid on any of my domains again. Needless to say next auction, he placed a bid but Flip removed him from the auction after I requested. I understand that now he has been banned. I guess not paying for an auction was the next step from that kind of bidder. If it wasn't for data protection I'd set up a site listing all these deadbeats. I have a few at ukbackorder and I'm sure all other catchers/backorders have the same and could form a central database of who to avoid.
