No I'm not expecting anything like football.co.uk, that's not what I'm looking for.
It's for a small project that doesn't warrant a premium domain. I've been offered a PR2 wordwordfootball.com for £45 - unfortunately the two words relate to a specific team and so are not appropriate for this particular project.
Hyphenated names are also ok.

Be careful when buying PR .coms Chances are the PR will not last or the PR is false. Many folks use 3 way link farms to boost PR of domains before selling them based on PR. You have probably had emails yourself asking for a link exchange. You place a link to "this" site and we will link back from "this other" site etc etc.
