Does anyone know of a forex site based in the UK?

One I looked at wanted my life history in work details. Is this normal?

I only want to buy one share.

Ah now you've said that I think I may have made a mistake.

I was looking for a company stock price and the only site it showed up on was a forex site.

The shares trade on the OTC bulletin board but I can't find a uk company that lists the share.

Apologies for the forex blunder. I had foreign exchange in my head and thought foreign shares not currency.

If you're just looking for a single transaction your bank should be able to do it for you through their trading arm. Don't know what cost's they'd charge but likely to be about £10-15 at a guess.
