I thought I would mention that there's another great googler competition just been launched by betthedealer.com. I just posted the release here http://www.storebuilder.co.uk/article246.html

To summarise, you take a phrase "fortuno winnero" which returns no results for a search. You then offer a prize for the site that is ranked top for this phrase a few months later with additional prizes along the way.

For all those interested in how to get sites to the top of the google pile a competition like this provides a unique insight into which techniques are being used to best effect to gain top spots.

Cheers 4 that SB, thats something that is of great interest to me at the moment.

I am currently developing a few of my names now and reducing the amount of time devoted to hunting for scraps. From what I have seen over the last couple of months any good names that do become available are always posted here on acorn, so no need hunt to the early hours of the morning trying to find 1 half decent name to reg lol.

My experience is that you need to leave the dropcatching to the pro's. I have placed a few dropcatchers over the past few days but it's more in hope than expectation.

Developing names can produce much bigger rewards than the time spent finding a "good" name.

But that's my opinion of course.
