Anyone looking for a good template-based web design tool, grab a copy of webuser magazine this week (£1.85), they have a free full version copy of NetObjects Fusion 7 (previously sold for £135)

I have been using this since version 2 (now on version 8 ) and it works well for corporate style sites where ease of navigation and clean presentation are key rather than all the fancy Dreamweaver / Flash stuff.

Once you know the software you can knock up a decent looking site in a few hours.

Thanks admin, I'll give that a go at under £2.00 it's not exactly a risk ;-)

program

I could not see program, friend has mag, I know it does not give discs,so was looking for write-up, no-find . What number of mag/page? please

same here. Looked in Smiths. No disk or mention of the program? Sure its webuser? what's the issue no?

disc?--I see no disc!

sure mag?, webuser does not give disc with mag,

No, admin is right, it is Web User (13 - 26 October 2005, Issue 120). I bought mine in Tesco and I've seen it in other supermarkets as well.

There isn't any write up about it in the magazine though so if you don't have the disk it would certainly look like the mag doesn't come with the software. Perhaps the disks have fallen off, mine was only stuck on with some rather crappy glue.

I've played with the program a bit, very easy to use, but the templates lack a bit of pizazz. I'm guessing the upgrade that you are pointed to might just give you some decent templates ;-)

Thanks lesurf, thought was losing marbles for a minute.

You can buy or download additional templates.

Its not the greatest for flashy web design but its great for knocking up decent sites relatively easily and the auto navigation system is excellent (you can put a nav bar on the master template page and it shows on all pages, adjusts to parent / child pages etc)

Sites I have build using this have always been well received by end users as they make it simple to find your way around.

Damm

I was ready to have king size micky taking, marbles, what marbles, spoilsports.
