can anybody give me a guide to how much they might be worth?

thanks, ben

does anybody feel any of these names might be worth anything, or is interested in them?

To be worth anything a name has to be worth about £50. (Transfer, registration and some profit). These are worth about £0.
They are certainly not worth bumping to the top of the topic.

I'd have said that these are too long, difficult to spell and why would anybody want them?

they werent really bumped up, they have been the top post for 2 days and only went to the second one today.

they might be wanted as there has been talk about the topics in the news and im sure they will feature strongly again sometime in the near future- thus would be of interest to groups against the subject, or for facts about them, etc.

they describe the subject erfectly, and if i wanted to find out information about genetically modified food then i would type that striaght in, and thus would take me to that site- thus arent too hard or too long in my opinion.

thanks for giving your view on it though :)

anybody else have a view on this?

I'm afraid I agreed with FC Domains - they are too long to be valuable or particular useful.

I have a name gm-info.org.uk which has expired traffic links to it and generates some revenue from Sedo parking (enough to cover reg. fees). I would be happy to receive £50 for it.

these actually do get people going to them and the links on sedo and make money too, so i still dont think that they are too long or anything

s_purs to a domain buyer or investor I agree with above they are too long. I know they describe the subject but the most valuable domains are 3 letters what do they describe?? If you can find a buyer then well done.

Í would say that gmanimals.co.uk is worth nothing - I could still have gmamimals.com for a reg fee so why would I pay anything more for the .co.uk. The basic rules of supply and demand still apply in the domain market!

Basically they are too long and you need to know how to spell to be able to get there. My advice (for what it is worth) if you want to create a site for genetically modified stuff get a shorter domain name (genmod.co.uk is still free) and build a well structured site around it.....saying that I still don't really see how there is money to be made there though - i.e. which would yield a high resale value for the domain and site!

How much do you think they are worth?

i doubt they are worth much anyway, just want to sell them to make a slight profit- if i made £10 profit i would be very happy.

as regards to the gmanimals.co.uk one i know the .com is still there, and i didnt really have any plans to sell that one, just thought id put it in with the other two
