Hi Guys

If anyone, including newbies, wants a free second opinion on a domain, feel free to PM me. E.g. you might want some advice on whether a particular type of domain is valuable, or advice before buying a domain. If the domain is free to reg I promise I won't register it (although bear in mind forum PMs can be read by forum owners).

Offer is open to anyone so don't be shy.

Thanks

Sorry, but this is one of the most ridiculous posts you've made yet.

What is it with wanting people to PM you all the time, instantly makes me think your up to no good or self promoting. Its not good for and doesnt add anything to the forum.

It opens up potential for mis-guided or inaccurate information which when others are not able to correct if they see fault.

I honestly don't know how your not Red Rep'd as most new members that post like you have red rep with in 20 seconds lol..........yet you've managed to last this long.

People won't be prepared to share business sensitive information in public.

I've done this because I want to start networking with people more.

I am a business professional who is here to make money. If you want a free opinion on internet business related matters, then feel free to PM me.

Thanks

How well have you personally done with selling domains?

Thanks

Thanks

Earlier in the week or last week when it all kicked off I got a pm from accelerator telling me he will report my posts etc ( think he sent the same email to a few members) he also informed me that he had been VERY successful in domaining

I think all this is a very poor attempt at trying to become an "industry leader" and more involved in the communities. I do feel a bit bad for Accelerator because I genuinely think he is actually doing all this to generate discussion and help people, in a way that will get him more involved and hopefully also help him with his own work/motivation.

The thing is mate, you come across so forceful with it all and it all seems as if you’re only doing it because you read it in a self-success ebook or something.

I don’t think people would have a problem if:

- You create unique threads based on really useful news and information which is targeted towards the exact forums you are on.
- You offer advice to people based on your real experience in that area.

As it stands you have been creating random threads, which are copy and pasted on multiple forums, offered advice to people on areas that you have not had any/enough experience in and now you are offering second opinions on domain names via pm which no one has asked for or needs.

A bit strange and I can see exactly why people are bemused by it all.

I will be happy for him if that is correct, just he has been (at least publicly) very discreet with it, so he wouldn't of been someone I would of thought to seek advice from currently.

+1

The problem is Accelerator is that you don't help yourself. I find a lot of your posts (and PMs) passive aggressive. You seem to want to promote debate (which is commendable) but you don't seem to want to get involved yourself. You have asked advice so many times about things but you don't act upon any of it whatsoever. You talk about your 'other priorities' but never say what they are.

If you were a bit more open and forthcoming about what you actually do, what your aims are and didn't just get all defensive when anyone questions you, I think you'll find everyone gets along better and the forum would improve too.

Well I'm glad you feel bad, because yes, I am trying to help people, and help myself of course.

Pretty well. Probably better than a lot of people on here. No million pound sales yet though.

So share some of your successes. Now that would genuinely be a useful thing to do, especially when the market is in the doldrums.

I do like to be discreet about sales. I don't disclose exact numbers, but sales are quite significant. Why don't you just PM me for some advice on your domain issues, and see if I help or not?

I'm not bothered about being an industry leader, I just want to help myself and help others along the way. Ultimately, I just want to be successful in business.

Yes, but business is about people. And getting people's backs up like you do isn't going to help you.

I can understand that you require some "proof of success", but you'll just have to take it from me that I have had significant successes because I keep things relatively private. It's up to you if you want to make use of this free offer or not.

I've stopped the random threads now.
