I have an iPad and yes prefer to read on that as its with me 99% of the time so its the convenience factor. I dont tend to make time to read, i end up with a gap between jobs so take 5 mins break to do something else.

I have a Kindle, I prefer using it just for convenience, but I have been known to order the dead tree format after reading something on the Kindle if it was really good. I'm currently reading a management book on the Kindle, I'm really enjoying it, so plan to buy a proper copy to pass round some of the folk I manage.

The problem with .pdf files is that they almost always get circulated on the Internet for free with free file sharing websites such as RapidShare.

I haven't got a Kindle, so not sure if it is as easy or possible to download their ebooks for free illegally?

All too often people, myself included, get so bogged down with 'work' it also becomes their job, and lose sight of why they started in the first place, whether it's to retire young and rich, or enough to pay the mortgage every month.. This book looks like it will really put things back into perspective and renew that sense of motivation for the stuff that really matters

If that was a negative to doing it, theres nothing stopping people scanning printed publications and passing it on that way.

The upside to a .pdf publication is low cost, less impact on the environment and ease of buying/selling.

I received the same this morning. Obviously flying off the shelves !!
