What rumour is that?

I was thinking the same, but as a sales thread I didnt want to ask. It was probably started by someone with rubbish names, as lets face it, a cracking name would sell on mars at the right price!! :)

Good luck with the sale, nice LLL with meaning / product as well.

What rumour is that? it's always been a good place to sell domains, albeit a lot lower than you'd wish because buyers wait and wait and wait but there are good ones out there.

And split the thread please admin, move to general the comments. no need to delete, it's fair to comment.

Agreed. The rumor is actually regarding UK domain owners in general (that they are unreasonable), but I've had nothing but good experiences so far.

Where did this rumour manifest itself..

It appears to sound very must self concocted

Yep. I go on geo specific forums and insult the users. You caught me.
Tee hee hee I like this guy. Excellent use of sarcasm :)

Welcome to the forum mate and good luck with your sales.
While I feel the price is somewhat high, the domain is a good one and I wish you luck.

This is what happens when a mod moves a non sales comment from a sales thread that starts with a non-sales comment. One rule for the seller and another for the rest, no?

So you would have prefered me to just remove your first post, which was the first comment in a sales thread?

Can't win either way

Don't try to win. Let the thread suffer from the sellers opening non-sales comment. He will then hopefully learn to self moderate in future and stick to a sales listing sans 'commentary'.

Just sayin' :)

The Rule #1
