so do you think that price of domains will drop now we have replaced the keyword tool for the keyword planner or is this another kick in the teeth from Google, just had a play with it and find it incorrect, in fact it was out by approximately 275%

well I used it for competing terms really, the exacts did fluctuate but it was simple to use and was good for giving ideas in a niche, all tools have a downside but the new tool has no redeeming features.

Being a free tool, not to much to complain about. Back to basics in picking domains on broad knowledge rather than data points.

the problem is that the new tool isn't an improvement on the previous tool, it sounds like google are trying to hide the exacts for some reason.

I can still see exacts if I click the "keyword ideas" tab and then select "Exact match" by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the menu bar.

But do the actual Avg. monthly searches change? Nope.

This match type selection only affects your click and cost estimates. It doesn't impact average monthly searches and other historical statistics shown on this page.

yes exacts are a bit out though ? do they include "Google Partners" in this search, Its only been live a few days and I have an extra 10k exacts from the previous tool, weehee shall I advertise it for an extra £10k

I was going to ask where exacts had gone, it seems its not possible to search for them anymore.

you can select 'google only' instead of 'google and their search partners' though.
