Everyones talking greyhound right strange whoised it to see if it had gone noticed the free to reg status logged into my domainmoster to order it. It went through but now shows up as pending in the control panel
But whois shows it with someone elses tag dam

The whois is sometimes delayed - it doesn't mean that the domain is available though. Interesting to see a different tag on it though - was fully expecting to see gweaver on it

I too do this in hopes I could reg it.. said it was available and went through every stage.

It was FTR for 9 minutes.

I just rang nominet to ask what happened and he is going to email me, so I will report back when I get the email.. or maybe one of you will find out before then.

No it was actually FTR, said so when trying to reg it through the web domain manager.

Also my DAC was blocked and I got another fresh message saying it was blocked while it still was/is blocked.. like the EPP had been down and come back up

Whois is not a true representation. A DAC response would show if it really was FTR for 9 minutes. Nominet's response will be interesting but, in my experience, I doubt it will be informative if they even understood the question
