If you select exact match and put in a keyword, it shows you the local results (UK) and then global results

This could be more useful than the previous tool :)

I noticed this late last night. I'm not entirely convinced it's a idea change for someone researching .UK domains. The global results are less important than the UK results, but they have done away with the average monthly stats. Therefore you only have the last month to look at and it's more difficult to determine if this month was a spike or a trough in search volumes. Some keywords have seasonal trends and you really want to know the outlook for the will be over the whole year to evaluate the worth of a domain.

Yes, there is a graph of trends, but that does not show enough detail.

Maybe I'm just being resistant to change?!

The numbers it's returning for Global search volume seem to be the same as the numbers it used to return for Average search volume.

Also if you hover over the question mark under Global search volume it still reads 'Approximate Average Search Volume'.

No that isn't right :)

try underwear as exact match

60,500 local
450,000 global

Trust me I have done enough research on this over the last few months, as lots on here know, and I even dream about the figures lol

It was 60,500 avg on the previous tool :)

yes i have a domain that last week said 12,100 exact for march and now states 1,900 for march and the cpc has dropped significantly(£6.58 to £1.26),it really has become a liability,it should be shutdown until they rectify the problem.
