Hi Everyone,

Acorn Domains looks like the place to, browsed through some of the threads and saw some helpful information. Looking to buy and sell obviously, but mostly to learn and share.

First Domain I ever sold was a .co.uk extension and now I'm hooked.

I own all .coms but looking to invest and learn about .co.uk's

Welcome to the forum and I hope your domaining goes well. If you haven't heard of it already, then domainlore is a good place to see .uk auctions.

Are you based in the UK or outside ?

If your just delving into the .uk space, be aware of the language differences and market size.

Another chap who recently joined, compared Tijuana being massive in the US, but nothing in the UK, so tijuana.co.uk would be pointless. The opposite being Marbella, means nothing to the US but is huge in the UK.

Watch what sells in the UK scene before you reg loads. What would probably sell in .com often wouldn't sell in .UK. Most 4 letter domains do very little in .UK but do well in .comf or example.

Thank you. I am not based in the UK.

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. I have started to notice this recently as I learn more. Different types of markets have different customers. Whether its a physical product or in this case domains, each market still has separate demands.
