I own
footballpage.net
LDmove.com
and
ExpoDogs.com

Can you help me appraise them please?

They are all worth nothing undeveloped, footballpage.net could be ok once developed.

Good luck 8)

Same here, I don't see resale value for the domains undeveloped.

they all worthless - and if you develop them they'll be worth even less.

lol

You guys are funny

Not funny, just honest. I see you have footballpage.net at $23,000 after getting it valued at urlappraisal.net

Automated valuation tools are a waste of time, as an example, one of the best known appraisal tools that people frequently quote values from is www.estibot.com and that site is known for vastly over inflating domain values on worthless domains, they value footballpage.net at $10 ;)

Why do you think they are of value?

Without meaning to be rude to him, he thinks they have value because there are a load of letters before the extensions .com and .net.

ferpuerto17, please visit Namejet and see how many .coms and .nets get dropped every day. There has to be SOME value either in the keywords or brandability for them to be worth something. Pred put up mobilevaleting.com the other day and I'm sure we'd all agree that is worth many thousands. Why? Because it easily usable/resellable/brandable and there are probably quite a few searches there.

Automated valuation tools are worthless, although quite fun! I have a domain that is prob worth reg fee that estibot says is worth 10 grand for eg.

Fair enough, Acorn isn't the best place to get a non UK domain appraisal but we're not ALL arrogant, anti GTLD investing shit heads. All of my main money sites are based on GTLDs so can assure you I appreciate the value in the good ones.

I don't see any value in them undeveloped.
Developed though they will be worth a multiple of their revenue.

Domains tend to be bread and butter products, services etc (yes harder to find but not impossible there are always new ones coming onto the market every day)
Geo’s whilst there is demand for them very few make any money and even less are standalone business?
names (People) lll and nnn (which could be argued are vanity ones) But they can creep into brand s e.g. 888, DIY etc then the dreaded “BRAND” it should be there to identify a product, service or company as distinct from those of others (would mostly be a .com and sometimes a cctld) for domaining purpose its tends to be used to cover up 99 % of crap, there are probably other categories etc but for me those are the main

I’d say yours fall into the 99% of “brand registrations”

reasons I think they are worth something

-as stated by someone before they are better as .com or .net
-searchable in search engines
-residual traffic
-can be given different uses for different products
-items that people want, need and pay good money for (pets, moves, travel)
-this is the only forum that has given them no value which is absolutely ridiculous and makes me think that the people answering are either pikers or have no vision
-parked they have already in less than a month paid for themselves
-no undesirable characters

The average of paid appraisals and free ones online gives them a decent value

The idea of putting them here was to see if there was any interest in them.

I believe that you are used to appraising .co.uk names and not really the .coms of the world as this forum rarely sees value on any domain.

Domains registered a few weeks ago have residual traffic?
There have been no searches for 'expo dogs' according to google.
Therefore why would that domain have any more value than a free to register domain?

I look forward to seeing them appraised on a 'serious' .com forum.

No. Fair play. You are 100% correct in everything you have said. You have likely valuable domains on your hands, probably best get a broker in for these IMO to realise their true potential.

By this logic every lottery ticket is worth the value of the jackpot rather than it's purchase value. That's what these are - domain lottery tickets. Nobody is searching for the terms and there are a multitude of domains meaning the same thing available for $9.

The same can be said of almost any domain name on the web.

LDmove.com seems a good one. What does it mean? and who would be interested in buying it? I noticed it was registered last month, if it was $50 to register back then, would you have registered yourself?

No, this fella is based in Mexico, rather than on another planet. But to add my appraisal - these names have little or no value whatsoever. Interesting that the poster thinks we have little experience in appraising .com names - perhaps, Ferpuerto, you can tell us some of the .com names you have sold that give you the benefit of experience over ours?

Can't we ignore these types of post rather than generate loads of pointless noise? These might be crap names but judging by the vast number of bargain basement sales we are all engaged in then none of us are doing much better.

Stephen.
