I have edited an existing Photoshop PSD file - just changed some text.

Now I want to save part of it as a JPG file. The part I want has a blue box around it from the Photoshop grid lines. How do I save just this area into a JPG?

Thanks

select it with the square rectangle selector thingy,
crop
save as jpeg
quality about 8 usually does it.

make sure you're using a copy of the file cos once cropped and saved there's no way back to the original file (that's why save as rather than save)

just adding my bit
if it is a PSD with layers make sure you flaten all the visible layers before doing the crop or else youre just croping the current layer and you might not get all you wanted.
