Student Newbie from Uk here, bin reading around the site the last few days getting to grips what names are the best to buy etc.

Seems for me the best route is catching a few breaks with the drop lists

I am going to get a few names would be great to get some opinions on them stear me in right direction etc if possible, and any advice is always welcome

Hoping this might turn into a nice bit of side cash (very small amounts considering what i have seen on this site )

but overall this actually looks like fun! ha

Welcome - you've found the best site for UK domaining. Nothing else compares.

I guess side cash can be made but my advice would be to not rush into buying domains. See what people are selling and the types of offer's they are getting. See what people are selling that they'll never sell and will end up letting drop.

Even though it may be £6 for 2 years for a .co.uk. If you have a 100 names that's £300 a year costs. So you need to be selling a name for £300 to break even (or 2 names for £150 etc.)

Of course there is more money to be made, but this is one business where information is paramount.
