House Price Change, Where To Sell?

Don't know the area Lee, but looks like a good buy to me...

I'm thinking of starting up a UK version of the yank-favourite 'Homes by Owner'-type sites - 'Buy Our House.co.uk'... Cuts out the middle man etc. = more profit for owners. Could have a sub-contracted firm send out signs etc. to put outside your home, visit 'BuyOurHouse.co.uk and enter: 33387' (for example) for more info.
A good idea?

You need to watch for contracts with agents. They are easily terminated though...

Could be but would take research, anything that sells house quicker would be welcome, other than price being lowered again. I want to get on with my life.

@ Lee, do some proper photos for your home, on the Dixons site, there is only 1 image of the front of the property, and what were you thinking on the Zoopla site, those photos are bad, I mean, a photo of a moss covered gate, a delapidated shed full of leaves and a dustbin, and several long shots of the same lawn, not very inviting and wouldn't make me want to even view the property at all after seeing those, sort it out :D

Can't you get some decent photos done of the rooms and get them on the estate agents, get someone to have a bit of a tody up in the garden etc?

£95k down here wouldnt even get you a mobile home and thats not even a joke!!

The prices are insane :-x

if you want my advice,i would hold onto the house, you have tenants so you have an income unless the rent isn't covering the mortgage then wait until the market bounces, anyway the domains you flip youre loaded......

I want to buy a house to live in and a car, I need to move on with my life.

There's nothing wrong with interest rates rising with job creation, and unemployement is still on the rise, it was bad enough before the recession but still... labour disguised the figures. Either way, yes I want out, because if this is going down again, I'll be 35 before can get sorted and I can't wait that long.

I got a viewing tomorrow at 4, crossy fingers. He's been trying to get in to view for over two weeks, must be keen.

why don't you try the tenants, you could offer them 50% shared ownership and then you would be able to release enough equity to by a house in romania, how much are houses in romania £30k ,it does have the largest exodus of people in Europe surely the house prices are peanuts...

60+k for apartment in the city but yes much cheaper outside, but no point me living in the country, plus the gf wouldn't go for that. Most people live in apartments here.

I lowered to £89k odd over the weekend, three viewings today, one ran away apparantly after looking at the first room, second were first time buyers and third was landlord looking to let, says he'd phone back... first time buyers suggested £80k, I've stated that's too low, what do you think? is market coming back up and summer is notoriously quiet anyway.

So seems like £80k on the table right this second, as long as their mortgage certificate is in place, otherwise told broker to go back and see if he can raise it as I dropped ten grand in a month as it is. I have £20k in dispensibles, so will end up being less overall but it allows me to get on with my life... I did wish to clear at £80k but in this domain game should be able to make that back by end of the year easily.

Got to wait 24 hours for offer, interested bidder asking builder mate how much things will cost to do up.

what's wrong with it then?,it sounds like the tenants are doing the old trick of trashing your plans.making it look scruffy so there not homeless.....
