Put lots of istes up with lots of content and get links to them all

8 sales per day is chicken feed:smile::smile:

When you say lots, how many sites are you talking about?

Doug knows his stuff. The more the merrier, but spread across different hosts and IP addresses :)

If you have loads of sites on the same IP google can see it as a link farm / network and ban the entire lot.

If you have a load of sites which have next to no content or (nearly) duplicate content of either yours or other domains they will see it as a link farm but if you have decent content Google do not care about the IP (since around 2003).

1. Buy a good domain.
2. Make a brilliant design with a lot of content and clear action buttons.
3. Make sure to target 'the right keywords' for SEO, while buying PPC traffic to targeted landing pages.
4. Negotiate the deals - it can be way better.

Good luck ;)

If only it was that simple

hotels

And get loads and loads of links:):)

Use different class c ranges and different data centres......there is lots of arguements about wether google use this data yet. I believe they do.....but if not now then they will one day. so if doing the work now then protect yourself for the future.

How many sites should you have? How many can you build and every person you meet build them and how fast:):)

What's the problem? It seems fairly straightforward.

The main problem people have is belief - you can make money doing practically anything online if you stick at it and think long term 2-3 years. People expecting to be making mega money overnight are just kidding themselves.

Making money online is a piece of piss. The hard part is trying to spend less than you earn :)

how do the existing sites fare? traffic etc

Seems an odd site layout to me to convert well? I say that as it doesn't fit the typical layout of a travel/booking site

I've made a few sales on the Hotels in Bath site via Laterooms and Hilton. No sales for the Dubai Hotels site yet but that is very early stage and it's not anywhere significant in the SERPs yet.

My sites are perhaps unusual, but they are that way for a reason. There are improvements I want to make, in particular to display merchant logos, but all these things take time.

Rgds

Cross sell car hire or theatre tickets? Up sell to a better room? Not easy but these extra pennies make pounds...

Jimm, I take your point. Thank you for clarifying. Bit concerned this will take things off topic, though.

wow, thats impressive, for someone like me looking to develop a few domains do you mind sharing your site? i'd like to take a look for tips and ideas
