How far ahead?

How far ahead do private catchers take bookings?

The name I have in mind is suspended but wont drop for over a month, would I be wasting my time asking this far ahead?

Too early I'd say, most private catchers don't need to sort their lists until the last minute, so might be interested in the domain themselves, so won't commit until they have sorted their polling for that particular day.

Public catchers will accept though, many from the point of being suspended, others any time, even if not overdue renewal.
