Prtobably a silly question as this is bread and butter to you hardened domainers on AD! - But one that requires a response! ASAP!!

If I agree a sale with someone - how is the process done?

Money collection - domain name transfer etc.... Cost of transfer (domains with 1 & 1 if that makes a difference)!

I'm sure that there are a few people on here that would like to know these details as well!

Thanks dudes & dudettes....Lex

1. agree price.
2. optional: send draft copy of contract agreement by email to be printed signed and returned. I hereby agree to sale etc
3. Get payment for domain.
4a. if agreed repoint nameservers to ones agreed.
4b. obtain transfer forms. Fill in and send back to new registrant with sample letters and letter of authority from you.
5. New registrant does his stuff and sends form to nominet WITH remittance and his letter of request.
6. Nominet do their stuff
7. transfer complete. Domain retagged as requested.(retag can be done at 4a if an existing paid for domain. New tag can't delete by automaton)

Cheers admin!

Do you know what the transfer fees are per domain? (with 1 and 1 )...

In my experience 1and1 charge £1.99 to the person transferring in the domain.
