Hi this is the first time I have to renew a domain, putted in a order and heard nothing of it yet. Usually when I reg domain it takes 5mins to be in my account.

is this normal for Godaddy to be slow on this? my domai expires in one month, but I am in talks with a few companies with interest of buying my domain.

So I want the whois to show the renewed date before I hold futher talks with them.

Anyone tried Godaddy renewal, can you give me an idea when will they process my order?

Normally anything with Godaddy is pretty much instant, so I'm not sure what's happened in your case.

Just out of interest; have you checked the whois just to make sure.

Can you also post some more details of your actions in initiating the renewal.

Contacting Godaddy by phone (skype's good for this as it's very cheap to call the US from the UK) is always an option.

Sneezy.

Checked whois and still not updated, been a day... got the order confirmation letter. If it's stil not done tonight I will e-ail them, they usually reply my e-mails quick. if not then maybe i will call them on Monday.

I had now renew a few more and found their system select domains to renew... not I have two outstanding, waiting for their replys now

I've found GoDaddy are always very good and everything I've done including domain renewals is instant...

If you let GoDaddy hold your payment details have you made sure they are up to date - i.e.: your renewal credit card has expired etc?...

Are you looking at a current version of whois - check online rather than with a app just in case you are looking at an out of date version.

Rich

...This is probably the most likely scenario - Like I said before; normally Godaddy are instant, so I would say sumit ain't right!

From memory Goddady can hold multiple payment details and mix and match which ones to use depending on what you used last time on that product, so you may have a 'new' credit card on file but it's trying to use an old one for the product selected - if you see what i meen. ;)

All done now, they said they got a delay with the registars, but I thought they were the registar. Anyway they told me sometime it takes time, I think there's a fault on their system.
