How long till i can purchase domain?

Hi,

I think i've stumbled accross a goldmine of a domain but its currently suspended - it's over 6 months past it's renewal date! how much longer will be before i can snap it up?

If its a good domain you have no chance as it will be taken in less than 1 second of it dropping....

dropdates simply gave a date roughly 3 months after the renewal...

These two domains are over 6 months past... why would this be? Surely no domain should have a longer period of suspension?

Ah, sorry didnt see the 6 months bit.

There is no way of knowing if/when they will drop, you could try calling Nominet who may be able to give you more info on why they havent dropped...

just tested it out on a domain i have been following for several weeks and i entered the details and it gave a date of June 30. that was around 8pm at night, and the domain was still available.

Then I check it again around 10.30pm and the domain was available.

So very useful.

Also, when a domain name drops, do they usually drop at different times throughout the day?
