How to upload dreamweaver website

Finally got time and done a website on dreamweaver.

I know it's stupid but it's my first website.

How do you link the dreamweaver website to the host?

Usually I ftp it straight into hosting. I presume you have hosting and that the structure is OK i.e. works from index etc?? Use a tool like Flash FXP.

In dreamweaver go to the top menu and choose "site" or "sites" and create a new site profile. Make sure you enter your ftp information. Then, when editing the site, on the right hand side you have your usual list of files. You can just select the files you wish to upload and click the blue UP arrow. Dreamweaver will push the site to the ftp.

You can even set it to upload on save etc.

Personally I use fireFTP rather than dreamweaver and DW can get stuck and works slowly.

You are better off using a third party FTP program as whats been said, DW is very slow, or at least it can be at times.

I personally use FileZilla due to being free, but there are many more to choose from.
