Hi Everyone,

Bit of a newbie with the whole domain thing however I seem to have an eye for some that are still available. What I would like to know is how long to have I have to do own them before I can sell them on?
I have been using GoDaddy as they are relatively cheap and the interface is pretty simple. Do I need to wait 60 days before I can sell it and transfer it to another registrar? I have tried to research this but it makes my head spin :(

Thanks in advance.

Buy carefully.
Research well.
Don't panic buy.
If you are a reseller, research who you can resell it to before buying.

Wish i'd listen to myself!

Some good tips there.

.com's

I have a few I want to sell, if I get the right amount for them I might start buying more as I have built up a list of available ones I reckon I can sell quite easily (perhaps not for a big profit but for it to be worthwhile). So can I transfer from Godaddy pretty much as soon as I have bought them?

This forum is geared to .co.uk and other UK extensions, might be better off finding a .com forum if you are really serious.

I've never had a problem transfering a domain after 30 days. I've never tried to flip one faster than that though.
