Been offered a 3 letter .cc .

110 mil on google without ext - over 13k on us ovt without ext.

Do you think it's worth the punt?

The letters actually add up to a common term and word.

Appreciate any feedback asap...

if its anything to do with credit cards, I guess as long as it makes sense it may have value with enough work put into it.

I have never in my knowing life typed in a .cc domain.

Others have, maybe someone more in the know can comment.

I had a generic .cc, very little traffic, bit expensive to keep and no offers ever. I let it drop.

You guy's are fantastic...

The name is being offered cheapish but being a .cc I was reluctant to say yes... and was thinking maybe I'm being a tight wad...

Aqls - yes it could possibly have credit card opening though it would be to a niche market and would need some convincing...

RT & Rob - I felt the feelings you've both expressed... Thanks for that input...
I'll contact the seller and put forward the sentiments you've expressed and see what the response is...

All - I'll update the thread with the final outcome and the .cc name.

Again, thanks...

Here is the update...

Sadly, had to use godaddy to complete the push...

The name - rip.cc

Thanks all for your input.

I think that is rather a good buy mr www!

I don't know if you'd like to do a joint development on this one aimed at credit card debts and individual voluntary arrangements and debt consolidation, that sort of thing?

I know it's not really the place to discuss it, I'll pm but it could be an idea to share our results with the board.

Just a thought.

ripup.cc brand

Thanks for the feedback...

Nice one - I'd love to 'ripup' my cc - who wouldn't....

What the heck, why not.... Sounds reasonable to me... Since last night when I started the thread, I've been mulling over the potential of the name...

Since you helped with your post, I see no reason why we can't collaborate unless, I'm sure you appreciate this, anyone "in the business" might want to buy them...

PM me... Let's talk somemore...

I just sold several food & cuisine related .cc domains including Restaurants.cc

GOt serious money for them.

Later I checked whois for the buyer. It's the same Hong Kong guy who runs Restaurants.com.
