Everywhere I look in the gaming space, I see .gg, as streamers, Discord servers, and even eSports teams.
It feels like .gg has become part of gaming culture itself.
Do you think .gg will continue to dominate gaming brands, or could another extension take its place?

ahh, yes! .gg is well adopted among gamers and well recognised among them :) .. the question is: is it a tld that should be invested in as in .io or .ai names..

Here is a very recent presentation from Nigel Roberts, the founder of .gg

I was tempted to pick up a three letter .gg domain but it's somewhere between £80 or £100 to renew year after year and I don't have any intention to build on it at the moment

I’m sure it’ll be really helpful for people to better understand this domain name.

Hi, Jam. I’m curious, what’s holding you back?

Budget. I am not a high earner and since last year have maybe around 100 domains in my personal portfolio and a .gg renewal is the cost of 10 .co.uk/.uk

Also not fully sure how my registrar is about renewals etc of .gg, it doesn't look like it's something they usually offer people to register but I could enquire about it. I've had .xyz domains with them before though and they have a variety of other extensions

Some of my favourite .me domains were had from a GoDaddy auction and hand reg on namecheap and then transferred across

.gg appeals to gamers, but cost and registrar support matter. How do you pick which niche TLDs to hold?
