Is this Squatting?

I don't think either of you need to get nasty. Now that you're in touch with each other on here, resolve it amicably like good Acorners.

@Daniel Kidd it's important you recognise that @JonathanB has done absolutely nothing wrong. It's your friend's mistake, not his.

I always wondered where this £20 tyre-kickers are coming from. You are a tyre-kicker. If someone like you come up with £20 after I ask £300 for a mediocre domain name, I immediately increase my asking price to £3,000 to make you and your friend feel miserable tyre-kickers. If you have an established business with email, business cards etc for a domain name, you must renew it which is £5.

Send another friendly email to the seller that you accept his £300 offer and thanks him!

He bought the domain a while back but his developer ran off and didnt complete it. Now he's asked me to look into it and I noticed that it's parked. I mean, it's not the absolute end of the world as it's possible to register a new domain but then there's the task of changing his details on things like business cards, but it's a bit of a scumbag thing to do. It's not like the domain is anything other than a person's business.

I'll see if I can go down another route.

Don't worry its all on record. You have done nothing wrong, stick to your offer and be done with it, that's more than accommodating.
