Ok I am on BT and I turned off googles public DNS and it stopped working.

Its a BT DNS issue though other providers who use BTs DNS will also break.

Its not just BT.

I would say there is potentially an issue with ns15.twdhosting.co.uk.
Sometimes (not everytime) it returns a SERVFAIL:

Code:
root@carla [~]# nslookup
> server 50.28.83.41
Default server: 50.28.83.41
Address: 50.28.83.41#53

> magazinesubscription.co.uk
Server: 50.28.83.41
Address:	50.28.83.41#53

** server can't find magazinesubscription.co.uk: SERVFAIL

And on further inspection im seeing bouts of 40% packet loss to that server. Looks like a TATA route dropping the packets.
So probably not the name servers issue directly but the fact the server is not available sometimes when TATA are dropping packets all over the floor ;)

Thanks for all your replies, I've give the suggestions mention to my host to see if they can solve the problem.

I've also tried changing the name severs to old then back to new to see if that changes anything.

What a nightmare! Thank again all for your help.

Have the name sever been updated today Mally?

Asking because the whois shows an update today, I checked the dns an hour or so ago and the name servers were lame.

But now they seem too been fine...

Also the http header response comes back fine for me I use

http://www.rexswain.com/httpview.html

Left wondering if it’s an update made to the dns and the propagation across the net is still not complete; hence some seeing different to others etc.

I'd strongly suggest moving the hosting back to the UK. For a uk based site there are - albeit questionable -seo benefits.

But one real tangable benefits is the speed of dns propagation through the uk dns nodes. Ive had us servers before & it's taken 24-48hrs to propogate to the UK. With uk servers the fastest I've seen it is under 30minutes. Depends on your ISP's dns cache time. For a commerce based site that's a big deal.
