Someone is letting a couple of names drop which made $24k and $32k on tdnam last night.

Looks like both names are currently under same ownership but as they are privacy reg'd (does Godaddy do that with high value names at tdnam to stop people contacting registrants direct?) its impossible to know for sure, but as the names were reg'd the same day and are similar - cloudapps.com and cloudservers.com - they probably are.

The registrant still has a few days to renew and keep the names - if not, they're losing out on a big chunk of change!

Not me, but this does happen from time to time, sometimes they do make it to drop. I picked up a dn the other day that sold for over 12K last year, when I contacted the guy (to sort out a paypal address) that had spent that much he just said 'oh well, forgot about that one'. Makes you wonder...
