On May 7-9, 2025, it.com Domains joined the APAC (Asia Pacific) DNS (Domain Name System) Forum 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Andrey Insarov, Founder and CEO, Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development, Joe Alagna, Chief Strategy Officer, and Sergey Gorbunov, Director of Registry Services, represented the company at the event.

The APAC DNS Forum was an extension of the ICANN Contracted Parties Summit. This year, more than 2,400 participants attended the event, including industry leaders, policymakers, and technical experts.

The event is a platform for the regional DNS community to network, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration in the domain name space. The APAC DNS Forum brought together regional DNS industry experts and the broader community to discuss the latest developments, opportunities, and challenges in the domain name marketplace.

The participants spent two days sharing their expert opinions on domain industry issues. The sessions and panel discussions focused on the next round of the nTLDs (new Top-Level Domains) program, as well as the development of the domain industry in the APAC region.

For the it.com Domains team, the APAC DNS Forum was not just an opportunity to share our vision of the development of the domain industry, but also to catch up with old partners and establish new connections.

The APAC DNS Forum was an excellent opportunity for us to continue communicating with old and new partners, which we began at the ICANN Contracted Parties Summit, but on a broader scale. In anticipation of the next round of the nTLDs program, it’s important to build on joint capabilities and find new solutions that will help develop the domain industry in the APAC region,

said Joe Alagna.

We were also able to promote our Registry Service Provider (RSP) program. It’s a system for managing domain extensions. With RSP, the domain zone administrator can easily organize the registration of domain names and effectively manage them by confirming, renewing, and canceling registrations.

APAC DNS Forum showcased the hospitality and tech savvy of the APAC region. As we’re all gearing up for New gTLD’s this April, we’re having in-depth conversations with long-term registrar partners and future RSP clients. The industry is eager for innovation, and it.com Domains is delighted to be providing that in our fresh, agile service offerings in close conjunction with our relationship and networking focus.

Moreover, we’re more attentive than ever to protecting our ecosystem from spam, abuse, or bad actors. We deeply appreciate the trust that our clients and partners have bestowed upon us, and are committed to being reliable stewards within the entire ecosystem,

said Tess Diaz.
