I've created a Wordpress theme... Want to try it out?

I have created a new Wordpress theme. The theme is VERY basic in appearance but is designed to be very easily customised. If you know very basic HTML5 and CSS you will be able to quickly change the colours and design.

The idea is that it is a basic template that allows people to quickly deploy new websites, only having to make a few changes to the design each time.

The theme features...

Modernizr
Nomalize
Fully Widget Ready
Two Custom Menus

I'm looking for a few people who would like to try it out and would be willing to help me identify possible improvements and problems.

I dont think the lack of response is a bad thing, just the fact most people on here, and I say that, because even I know where to find a gazillion themes, and they probably do to.

The good news is, I felt the same about your theme as I did about the spatula my daughter made in design technology recently. 'Thats nice' I thought, knowing I had several in the drawer that could do the job just as good.

Once I had stopped applauding her efforts and sending her off to get changed happy as can be, having impressed me so much, I kept it for best at the back of the drawer, safe as an heirloom.

So unless a close relative is a member here on acorn, I would be happy with the silence

First thing I was thinking was... Isn't this a copy of another theme? It looks a lot like a lot of other themes and I guess for a new theme to spark a bit of interest it needs to be refreshing and/or have a lot of features other themes dont have.

I am in no way trying to talk your theme down as I would never be able to design one( already have difficulties installing one) but I guess it just not refreshing enough.

The idea of the theme is common and widely used, but it looks simple and I think it is also SEO friendly.

Having worked very closely with my partner on a WordPress theme recently I'm now appreciative of how much work goes into them, and I know yours will be useful to people. It looks like a good framework, although I'd remove the 'Search for' before the search bar because the button itself does the job
