who pays transfer fee?![]()
actually u cheeky bastrdos![]()
- someones already offered me £100 for this -
there is a good SEDO article on the value of these type of domains -
bear in mind the o & 0 are right next to each other - typos..
also: J0BS.co.uk looks as good as JOBS.co.uk at the end of the day on a logo/webpage
BIN £500
Some people have no vision on here.
And one of you who said no good for seo, go have a look at some of your own posts where you say domain is not important where seo is concerned??
Which it is not of course.
There are loads of ways this domain can make money, if you have the inclination that is.
My best Idea is, and if you have ever looked at a jobs board lately, I am positive you will agree with me...
Jobs Zero Bull Shit.com .co.uk etc (incase word is **** out is s h i t )
It could become quite a site, and the free viral marketing opportunities are massive!
So your J0BS.co.uk could be the catchy easy to remember domain after all.
And yes you do always have a typo, but there would be no infringement should you be developing the site Jobs Zero Bull Shit, your j0bs domain would just point to that site.
J0bs.co.uk would simply be a catchy logo, but your business and brand would be Jobs Zero Bull shit.
The jobs market online and offline is swamped now, there seems to be an agency on every street corner, hard to decipher job adverts, only to find out most are just recruitment companies looking for recruitment consultants??
There is a clear opportuity for anyone wishing to have a jobs board, even a simple gum tree type site would work.
Your site could be an agency free zone. All advertsiers would have to list their company name, so users could do their own research before sending their personal details away. You could charge a simple £2 a job advert and would clean up. ( you would obviously have to put in a few simple safeguards to stop recruitment consultants hawking the site) also ( I have no problems with consultants myself, but there is a need for a rec free zone)
Low set up costs, most scripts for this type of site are free or at most $10
So domainers reading this, if you heard about a site that is so cheeky it called itself, J0bs Zero Bull Shit and had a rather naughty cool logo like J0bs.co.uk, plus it gave you what it said on the tin, local and national jobs in a simple easy to view format would you have a look?
Too right you would, and if any of your friends and colleagues said they were looking for a job, you would send them there no hesitation.
I think this domain has great legs, i dont see much in lots of domains posted on here, but this one has more than typo potential, you just have to look hard enough and believe.
Go for it fella, forget the few quid you are after for it, development costs are low, easy to promote, and if you keep true to your brand, it cant be anything less than a complete success story. You just have to see it, I do, I hope you do too!
Seeing as I'm sat at home trying to finish an assignment, I spent the money I would have wasted on a couple of ice creams down the beach, on these domains, just incase you ever want to use em.
JobsZeroBullShit.com .co.uk <-- F.O.C of course
Whatever you do with your domain, best of luck!
I think you will find the essence of what I am saying is, this domain could be something
But you are wrong mate...and that was only taken from your first sentance..
We have all regged bum names... I am not disputing that...![]()
Anyway i dont have time for teaching the basic does and donts ..![]()
lem0n.co.uk drops tommorow![]()
lem0n.co.uk drops tommorow![]()
What if jobs.co.uk goes national - with TV adverts an get 100,000 typins PM of which I get 1 % of free traffic?
now that could be a waste of money, not many people go online looking for a LEMON - the potential market for JOBS is just slightly higher than that of LEMONS i hope ...![]()
