The market to domainers seems pretty depressed at the moment best offer I recieved on a similar domain recently was £130.

When you consider how much listings cost on job sites or in the paper the low xxxx seems like a bargain to end users who pick these up.

If your looking for a quick sale here probably looking at low xxx

Search for jobs in Cardiff or Cardiff Jobs... Guaranteed to be a cityjobs domain that gets top spot. Same with Bristol Jobs, london jobs and many others I would imagine.

I know a search for jobs in kent, gets my local site up...

So yes, I think it's a domain with good potential

I dont think you need an appraisal from anyone on here, looks like you have found the value of it by looking at similar past sales. Looks like its worth around £1,000 to £1,500 to an end user, if one comes a long. If you where to sell on here, you would probably only get low £xxx.

Having sold one of those mentioned and cities larger than Manchester jobsin city domains i wasn't just guessing at it.

I've watched the Whois change on several and bingo before long you see the same person owning it as before. So sedo sales should never be taken at face value.

Your end users are right here on a acorn. Several of the top cities have been bought by an acorn member who specialises in Job web sites. Yet they have scrapped several attempts to use them. So if your saying they are wrong ok. All back parked at sedo.

Everyone agrees low xxx on here but no way is it a 1500 domain.

The value is what someone is prepared
To pay for it. So as I'd pay £175 and no one else will. That's it's value.

That doesn't affect it, check out sheffieldforum.co.uk for what can be done - it's a monster of a site.

jobsinnewport.co.uk got £60 on DomainLore, but the OP knows that.

Been here 8 years, all other UK cities are nowhere near as nice.
Sheffield is friendly, creative and green. Even Sheffield gangsters/rudeboys are tame compared to counterparts from Nottingham, Manchester & London!

That said, the job situation in Sheffield is not as lively as to say Leeds or Manchester.
