Hi there, does anyone have a joint venture/equity share contract for web projects?

Am taking on a % of a project and need something formal that we can sign to agree on, any help would be much appreciated!

If its a big project i would suggest getting a proper shareholders agreement drawn up. If you're looking at a real basic agreement these are normally between £1500/£2500. In the meantime you could get a Heads Of Terms agreement put together which basically outlines each parties duties etc while the shareholders agreement is being done, just a thought...

This is a great help, the project is quite speculative so I think bensd mention of forming a company and also the link http://companyregistration.uk-plc.net/ is looking quite attractive to get things underway.

If you are forming a Ltd company try Blue Sky Formations, I have used them twice and they are cheap. Plus if you open a business bank account, you get £35 cash back! So it could mean the formation doesn't cost you a penny
