I couldn't agree move, and to add insult to this, I wasn't informed, neither can I access my own thread.

Not impressed!

That misses two points:

1- It shouldn't even be in that section, it therefore limits vision on an obviously non-adult domain.
2- I don't favour such domains, and don't see why I should be compelled to subscribe to that area.

Can a mod please correct this and put it back in the open section?

I think with the title: LGB (suits Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual organisation) it should be in the adult section, but thats just me.

For me I just don't want my 11 year old daughter who was sitting next to me to be able to read things like that, but again that's just me.

Probably the word lesbian, someone in the admin/mod team saw that word and moved it to adult is my guess.

I had a look at the forum rules but all I could see regarding adult name rules was that you can't link to an adult or offensive sites, and you can't have adult links in your signature, some guidance from Admin would be handy as to exactly what is and what isn't allowed to be posted outside of the adult forum.

Intolerance is no excuse, and this is encompassed in The Equality Act 2010, to quote:

"We prevent discrimination (including discrimination based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation..."

Look, the word lesbian is not offensive in the eyes of the law, just in the eyes of the prejudiced mind.

The reality is someone here has messed up and given in to their inbuilt prejudice, dumping the thread in with all the porno names. That my friend is ignorance of the worst kind!

The fact is some people are offended by such words law or no law

Look? I didn't move your post, so give the attitude a rest, you asked a question, I answered it.

Not my problem.

[edit]

Just to add, I agree the name itself it shouldn't be in the adult section.

In fairness to our admin team, I'm sure a dozen or so 'close' calls have to be made every week, whether it be a listing, a thread response or a newbie over-stepping the mark. Not an easy job.

seems to me a compromise is in order. domain back in the main sales thread with perhaps your acceptance of the deletion of the suggested use.

I must admit I had some fun trying to figure out what the acronym was before it was posted. And I came up with much better (much more obscene) suggestions

I agree, it should not be in the adult section.

I would feel differently if the title was....
carpet munching, pillow biting, switch hitters

.

Just saw this one, I moved it with a 1 day expiring re-direct. I don't have time to email every member for every thread I move.

If you put this in the sales title - (suits Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual organisation) then you can expect to go into the Adult section
