Could any of the members help out an ecommerce site i've got running, long story but a designer totally messed up the linkage profile of the site when it was ranking well during a redesign to the point nowt links to it as of now

It does sell products albeit not at the level i'd like it to return to, so seeking some decent links if anyone has anything suitable

Nothing to my knowledge has it listed on the naughty page for the dark arts of linking etc

Sector - sun protection, beach tents, etc

Is it the structure that has changed. Do you just need to 301 the old pages to the new to recover your links struggling to see how redesign could affect external links otherwise

Yep should 301 the old to the new

Yes the structure has changed and unfortunately the old site is no more as this was completed a good while back now, so its all back to square

Is it on Instagram?

Not as yet, on the list to do though

Look on archive.org

Or have you got google webmaster tools/analytics?

Could look at your webmaster tools to look at what urls were getting linked to

You could also look at your landing pages on analytics to get the old urls that were getting traffic

I was going to say try webmaster tools as well as what Murray said see if there's any not found errors there as well for old structure maybe and old sitemap. You could also try a site: search on Google see if the old URLs are listed.
Moz and the like may have details of your old linked to pages.
Finally is there any old server logs on the hosting were you could you see the old pages.
I'd defo look into trying to find your old structure one way or another

Checking your 404 and error logs can reveal where traffic is going. I often rewrite on a link by link basis from these. Redirect to a current or more relevant page.
