Hey,

OK, i have about 140 numbers that i need to randomly split between to people, is there anything online that i can use for this? or is it a case of numbers in a hat :)

You could assign a random number to each of the 140 numbers in Excel, using '=rand()', then sort by the random numbers column & split at 70?

yup, I've used Excel for that in the past. have a column of your numbers and a column of the random number. Select all the data and sort by the random column. Every time you sort, it will regen random numbers, so sort once by that column, and then hold down CTRL-Y and ask a third party to say STOP! Or use another external cue. the CTRL-Y will repeat the last command (which was a sort).

No such thing as a random number ;)

In fact, most systems use the system clock as a seed to generate a pseudo-random number. Probably sufficient in your case ;)

:) All i needed it for was to split some teams up on pro evo, its done the job, i got Brazil lol.
