We need a logo designed for our new website:

car-hire dot uk

We've got some sample designs for the layout, but need the logo designing.

Please can someone point me in the best direction for a great logo. I know there are websites people use. Just wondering if any have had good success.

Thanks for any ideas.

Hey,

I have used the following for different purposes.
Fiverr.com - Only $5 but can be quite templatey and not very well thought out as you might expect for just $5
http://www.vonglitschka.com/5MinuteLogo/ - decent logos - i believe he draws them on his ipad so again good for $5 but all along the same theme.
Elance - I have just started two projects on here one with a british company called Logos and Branding and another with an American guy called Eugene. Eugene is better for brands and creating something bespoke whilst Logos and Branding i would say are more just about the Logo. Eugene cost be $220 and The UK company $149

I hope that helps a little

Okay, I'm finished. I think you're going to like this. I can do unlimited revisions. Or if you're happy as it is I'll just invoice you now?

That is clearly a Cornish crab, he should be eating a pasty instead of a sausage roll !

Fixed.

I've added £100 to the invoice to reflect the 3 hours of work it took me to swap the drivers over, and exchange a sausage roll for a pasty.

I know how hard it is to envisage how a logo is going to look on a given design - so I've took the time to add it to your site template to give you an idea. Personally, I think it works really well if you could just shorten the headline text a little so it doesn't overlap?

To follow up on this. I thought perhaps the logo should be simpler and include a car. The meadow also reminded me of Jeepers Creepers, so I've took the liberty to add in The Creeper to see how it looks.

Agreed. Fixed.
