Manual registrar change cost

After a cockup at ukreg I've just done my first manual registrar change using Nominets new systems.

It's now fully automated after logging into the secure pages so I was very suprised to find that it still costs £10 + vat even though Nominet staff no longer do anything - hardly cost recovery!?!

Either they are manually checked at some point, or the venue for the xmas party is unchanged and the cocktail prices remain high.
