hello all just revamped my my led website in the sig below... would appreaciate reviews and comments.. i`m a novice when it comes to web design so i have used a template... please let me know what you think...

I think you need to show pictures of each type, mayne help people decide which one they need ?

I mean you say...

Led bulbs come with all usual fittings including the standard uk, Edison screw, MR16. Other models might have a small Edison E14 fitting, GU5.3 (Bipin cap) or GU10 (bayonet socket).

Hell if I know what an MR16 is ? So maybe worth adding a page about 'Which do I have ?', then you can do an amazon affiliate or datafeed with JUST those items in it. It may help conversions :)

thanks for that, great idea..something i didnt even think about...but would prove very helpful, i was thinking of adding a faq page aswell...just with things about delivery and such like?

thanks again for the help and for any more info...

added another page under the products tab, not changed the shop around yet but thats the next step.... had 150 hits today...could do with 10 % + of those being sales and it would be a very good mini site... thanks for the help and any other advice...

I'd certainly look at the descriptions you have. You lost me as all I see is product codes, GU10, MR16 etc, ok these are LED codes but for the causal browser looking for such items might not aid conversions

Careful not to overdo the keywords or google might get a little annoyed.

i`m a novice i`d really appreciate any advice you could give me, ie what would be the best thing i could put? an example would be great... at the very least just to show me where im going wrong.... thanks tho for the feed back.... its all a learning curve....

Try and find a photo of each type of connection, ideally a few views to show it and allow it to be accurately identified, futher this process by describing the connection, and give its most common example usage if there is one.

If they are listed in a particular way, like say MR16 is listed on the fixtures usually as Mr494947316, explain that you take the first 2 letters and last 2 numbers to get the fixture type from the bulb. I don't know if there is anything like this but its an example.

If people are like me, I don't know what an MR16 looks like, so the more you explain it, and allow the user to identify it, the better as they can easily oh right its this type. Then show them how to order it, and with any luck they will :)
